How can a child or family be referred to Children’s Fund for Services?

Children’s Fund works with case workers from multiple agencies within the County of San Bernardino as well as area community based organizations. Children’s fund does not accept self-referral. Please call us (909) 387-4949 for further information regarding our services.

What is a Public Private Partnership?

A Public-private partnership describes a government service or private business venture which is funded and operated through a partnership of government and one or more private sector organizations. In the case of Children’s Fund, our administrative overhead is paid by the County of San Bernardino, allowing us to fundraise as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

How can I help Children’s Fund?

If you are an individual donor, the best way to support Children’s Fund is to not only to support our programs through monetary donations and volunteering, but to tell your friends and colleagues about us.

If you represent a foundation or a corporation, the best way to support our work is not only to tell colleagues about us, but to contact us to discuss ways we can develop partnerships and maximize all our efforts to ensure charitable giving not only survives, but thrives.

How can I make a Special Donation?

You can make a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds or a bequest through your will. Throughout the year Children’s Fund also encounters special needs. For more information please contact Heather Lint at (909) 387-4949.

Can I donate goods, such as books, cars and food, instead of cash?

Like many charities, Children’s Fund is grateful to receive gifts of new unused goods. Offerings of specialty services are also needed for at-risk children such as orthodontia, eye exams, haircuts, dental care or other special services

How do I volunteer?

Children’s Fund offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families or groups, ranging from a one-time experience to multiple commitments. These opportunities include office work, warehouse maintenance. Please call the Jane Nottingham for more information at (909) 387-4949.
