Bonnes Meres Birthday Luncheon
Imagine you are seven years old. Your father abandoned you and your mother was arrested for drug possession. A social worker came and took you to a foster home...Months go by. Your seventh birthday arrives, but nobody notices. With mom in jail, there is no one to celebrate your special day -- or even remember when it is.
Members of the Bonnes Meres Auxiliary are preparing for their Birthday Luncheon, an event that provides birthday gifts for foster children. Last year the Bonnes Meres Auxiliary made birthday wishes come true for more than 2,000 children in the Inland Empire. The auxiliary's Birthday Luncheon will be held this year on Wednesday, April 28th, at the Redlands Country Club.
Those who would like to help foster children but are unable to attend the luncheon can sponsor a child for $20.
