Frank Bland Regional Training Center

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is recognized nationally for being on the cutting edge of training and community policing techniques. The Frank Bland Regional Training Center has received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement.

The academy is considered to be one of the top basic academies in the state, and delivers various subjects taught such as crime scene investigation, tactical communication, firearms and defensive tactics. The physical training programs consists of weight training, stretching and aerobic/formation runs on both dirt and paved road surfaces.

As the Inland Empire continues to grow, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is recognized as one of the leading law enforcement agencies in the region and state.
