2010 Celebration of Giving Campaign

What You Can Do!

It's that time of year again, time for Children’s Fund to invite the community to join us in warming the hearts of at-risk children for our Annual Celebration of Giving campaign. We invite you to take a moment to imagine the holidays in the life of a typical “at-risk” child served by Children's Fund. While most children celebrate the holidays with family, gifts, and love; these children aren’t as fortunate and most will not experience the same sense of family and childlike magic of the season.

This is reality for tens of thousands of children in San Bernardino County, but thanks to Children's Fund, caring individuals and businesses have many opportunities to participate including monetary donations, adopting a child’s gift tag and donating toys.

Monetary Donations

Children’s Fund knows the holidays are a very busy time, and it is often hard to find the time to visit a local toy store. A donation to our campaign will accomplish the same thing!

100% of your donation will be used to purchase gifts for thousands of children across San Bernardino County, and with the many deals that Children’s Fund receives from local businesses, we are able to leverage your donation to provide for thousands more!

Adopt a Tag

You also have the option of adopting a single child, or multiple child gift tags.

These gifts will go to children are referred to us from The Department of Children’s Services. Most are foster care and group phone children, and will not receive a holiday gift without help from our generous donors .

You can also host a Giving Tree at your place of business where guests and employees can come adopt a tag from your location!

Toy Donations

This generosity involves simply dropping off a toy, or two, at our warehouse by December 10, 2010.

Gather your friends and family to collect toys together. Your company’s holiday party can be a joint effort to spread holiday cheer to children at-risk.
